The Comeback: From the Void to the Field
In 2019, the lights went out. After nearly a decade of pushing limits, my body and mind finally hit a wall I couldn't climb.
A devastating injury was the catalyst, but life and burnout did the rest. I walked away from the gym, the coaching, and the industry that had been my identity since 2010.
For years, there was silence. No heavy plates, no high-intensity timers, no coaching cues.
But 2026 is different.
I’m not coming back to chase a personal record or to prove I can still out-work the room. I’m coming back because I remember what it felt like to be at the bottom—injured, burnt out, and looking for a roadmap that didn’t exist.I realized that the people who need help the most are often the ones who have no one in their corner when the "hype" dies down.
